Landscape Installation Crew Member
We are looking for qualified project installation members to become integral members of our established landscape installation team. Candidate should have at least one year work experience in residential (and if applicable, commercial) landscape installation. This would include installation of hardscapes, planting trees/shrubs, installing sod, irrigation, lighting, and grading, etc.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily preparation of trucks and equipment: secure all equipment, load, and secure all plant material and hard materials required for the day, assist crew members in any preparation required for the day
- Perform landscape installation and maintenance tasks on customer’s property
- Planting of trees, shrubs, and flowers
- Perform all tasks with spring operations, included but not limited to leaf and debris removal, bed edging and mulch installation
- Bed and lawn preparation by hand or using equipment
- Provide labor associated with the preparation, excavation and installation of paver patios, walkways and retaining walls, water gardens and landscape lighting
- Installation of sediment control fabrics
- Installation of lawns
- Unload equipment, clean out truck & trailer by removing trash and debris daily
- Assist crew members in preparation for the next day
- Clean and store equipment as instructed by management
- Performs other duties requested by management as needed
Job Requirements:
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Must have reliable transportation to work
- Bilingual – English and Spanish (preferred, but not required)
- 1+ years’ experience in landscape construction with experience in retaining walls, patios, edging, planting, drainage, grading and sodding
- Experience working with perennials, annuals, shrubs, evergreens, and trees: identification and cultural requirements
- Valid US (Georgia preferred) Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors during extreme hot and cold temperatures
- Maintain clean and safe work environment
- Completes the job in the most time-efficient manner, meeting the company productivity requirements
- Operate a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to skid steer, edger, commercial mower, blower, chainsaw, line trimmer, etc. (preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- 10-12 hour shifts pending time of year
