Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader and Member Jobs

We are hiring for lawn maintenance crew leaders and members that can perform typical lawn maintenance duties that includes mowing, edging, blowing, trimming hedges, weeding beds, picking up normal debris, installing pine straw and mulch, etc. All crew members will need to have valid driver’s license and be able to drive a truck with attached trailer. Crew leaders should also have 3 years’ experience and be able to motivate the crew, follow route and make sure lawns are maintained properly. Crew members ideally should have 1 year experience, but we do offer training.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Ability to use lawn equipment (commercial sized mowers, blowers, edgers and trimmers)
Assist in daily preparation of trucks and equipment, secure all equipment properly and load any additional tools or materials needed (mixed oil, RoundUp, ladders, etc.)
Clean and store equipment as instructed by management
Maintenance of equipment (i.e.: sharpen blades and change oil in mowers, etc.)
Unload equipment, clean out truck & trailer by removing trash and debris daily
Performs other duties requested by management as needed

Job Requirements:

Bilingual – English and Spanish (preferred, but not required)
Valid US (Georgia preferred) Driver’s License and clean driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work outdoors during extreme hot and cold temperatures
Maintain clean and safe work environment
Completes the job in the most time-efficient manner, meeting the company productivity requirements
Operate a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to edger, commercial mower, blower, chainsaw, line trimmer, etc. (preferred)
Lawn Maintenance Member: 1 year (Preferred)
Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader: 3+ years
